Almost home!
Well, this is probably my last entry until we get home. We fly home Wednesday August 13th from Rome. We will spend our last 2 nights in Rome, doing some sight seeing AND getting Vicki a temporary passport so that she can get home. We were at a beach in Ortona last night and had our car window broken and Vicki's purse, Zoe's camera and Paul's GPS stolen. We were quite upset but all is in order now.
Once home, I will post a lot of pictures that I couldn't get ready with our limited internet access here.
Our neighbour and his brother are looking at our ground level cantina and will likely restore the stonework and pour a new floor before we return next summer. That will be a whole new standard of living for us! We are very excited.
All the neighbours have welcomed us and we will miss them over the winter. We hope to continue an email relationship with some of them and look forward to see them next year.
